The training room changes and does not go back. In this episode I sat down with Phil Friedman, the founder and CEO of CGS Inc., to investigate how AI, Avatars and compelling simulations rewrite the Playbook about work platform training. What really stood out was how Phil regards this as a moment of acceleration instead of disruption. AI is not there to replace or eliminate human trainers; It is a tool that can deepen learning and speed up how people can acquire both interpersonal and work -specific skills. In a world where young employees feel more at ease with gaming engines than whiteboards, the compelling, responsive nature of AI-driven simulations offers a natural fit.

Phil shared fascinating stories from industries such as health care, aviation and fast food, where training time has been reduced from months to days. But more than the statistics, it is the idea that training can now adapt in real time, simulate unpredictable human behavior and immediately give meaningful feedback that points to where we are going.
