Week 12 in the CFL saw a lot of action, starting with the Montreal Alouettes who lose their fourth consecutive match and end up with the Calgary Stampeders who defeated Saskatchewan Roughwan Roughwan. As always, we emphasize the best individual versions in ‘Team of the Week’ this week

With the enormous victory of Calgary, it is no surprise that they take the lead with six players who earn a place in the team this week. The Edmonton Elk is in second place after their big win, with five players. Three teams (Toronto, Montreal, BC) tied the least players, with only two each.

Quarterback of the week: QB Vernon Adams Jr., Calgary

There has been a lot of debate about whether Nick Arbuckle or Trevor Harris had the better performance, but also not the best Quarterback of the Week. That honor goes to Vernon Adams Jr., who led all passers -by in the passing degree (84.5).

Adams tied the competition head with two large throws and only took one turnover -worthy game. He ranked the first in the average depth of the goal (15.1 yards), speed of throws beyond the sticks (57.1%) and an accurate fitting percentage (68.4%), while the lowest non -chatchable pass (5.3%) of the week was also placed.

For 12 weeks, Adams is in second place in the CFL with a passage of 90.2 and leads the competition with 65.2% of its yards that come through the air.

Attacking player of the week: RB Brady Oliveira, Winnipeg Blue Bombers

This week’s price should not come as a surprise for anyone who has viewed the CFL promotion. Brady Oliveira seemed on the 2024 most excellent player, and touched the ball 25 times for 210 meters and a touchdown. He forced four missed tackles and an average of 5.4 yards after contact per Carry earned an 83.1 hasty figure that was in second place running. He added 73 receiving yards to nine catches, picked up three first downs and placed an 82.9 reception figure. All in all, Oliveira has led all attacking players in general (83.6).

Although his seasonal -hose class of 82.2 May falls short in his previous three years, he is trending up and has an 85.3 hasty degree in the past three weeks.

Attacking line of the week: Montreal Alouettes

The Montreal attack struggled in a loss for Winnipeg, but the attacking line stood out as the clear light place. While the ground game took a rear seat, Alouettes Rushers still won more than 41% of their yards before the first contact, an indicator for solid blocking at the front.

In pass protection, the unit excelled in keeping the fourth string starter James Morgan Clean. He was not fired at 34 dropbacks and was only confronted with pressure three times. Montreal placed a competition-best 95.6 pass-blocking efficiency score-the only team above 90.0 for the week. Individual Center Cyrille Hogan-Saindon was dominant and did not lose any pass-Blocking Snap all game.

Pass Rusher of the Week: Ed Mathieu Betts, British Columbia

Mathieu Betts may not replicate his 2023 SACK totals, but he still has a fantastic season like Pass Rusher. In this week’s outing, Betts registered a bag, a hit, four hurry and three extra passtrush victories. His pressure percentage of 18.8% was in second place among all defenders, and his 10.9 Pass-Rush Productivity Score was in third place. He ended the game with an impressive 85.3 Pass-Rush figure.

In the season, Betts has the second highest pass-hush figure in the CFL at 87.6. It is in second place with 43 total pressure and is in fourth place in Passrush Win Rate at 17.1%.

Run Defender of the Week: S Damon Webb, Calgary

It is unusual for a free safety to take Defender of the Week home, but Damon Webb earned it with a striking performance. He made four total tackles against the run, including a solo stop late in the first quarter and an important stuff with a two-point conversion attempt before the break. Webb did not receive any negative figure in Run Defense and ended with a competition-best 81.6 Run-Defense numeral.

Coverage Player of the Week: LB Jameer Thurman, Saskatchewan

This is a rarity-Jameer Thurman, mainly known for his Run-Stopping bravery, takes the coverage of the week home. Although he allowed a 16-year first-down reception, he was doing well with an important interception of a deflected Vernon Adams Jr. Pass halfway through the third quarter. Thurman also added two tackles in coverage and ended with a competition-best 77.1 coverage figure.
