For those assigned seats in the first round of UGCET/NEET courses, a revised schedule for choice exhibition has been announced. The executive director of Karnataka Examinations Authority, H. Prasanna, has advised candidates to pay the costs within the specific period and to secure access to the assigned college without failure.

The payment of the costs is permitted until 4 p.m. on Thursday. The last date to report to the college is Friday. There will be no changes to this schedule and the dates will not be extended, he emphasized.

For those assigned seats in medical and dental courses, the choice -Try -Link is activated on Thursday and will remain open until Saturday. The payment of the costs can be made until August 18 and the last date to report to the college is August 19, he said.

Candidates who select Choice-1 must pay the costs online and download the letter of allocation from the chair. Afterwards they must report to the assigned college with all original documents.

This time the original document verification is done at the university level itself. That is why candidates must bear the original documents according to their claim category. The responsibility to verify whether the documents are in order lies with the respective colleges, he explained.

Due to a lack of time in the admission process, colleges remain functional, even during vacation, Mr. Prasanna said.
