For the first time since the iconic film premiered 40 years ago, all five members of “The Breakfast Club” were premiered, and it all happened in Chicago.

Ally Sheedy, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estèvez, Judd Nelson and Molly Ringwald came together C2E2The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, held on McCormick Place.

The convention, a pop culture company that brings fans of comic books, anime, films and more together, took place from Friday to Sunday.

And what is a better place than Chicago? “The Breakfast Club” was filmed in the suburb of Chicago van des Plaines on the former Maine North High School.

The cast members participated in signatures and a panel complete with all five stars.

The panel was moderated by Josh Horowitz.

During the panel, Ringwald noted that this was the first opportunity that Estèvez was with the other four.

“I feel very emotional and moved to have us all together,” said Ringwald.

One question that fans have waited for years were finally answered: what do cast members think happening with their characters?

All five members had different ideas about where their characters were after graduation.

Nelson said he thinks that his famous rebel character, John Bender, is ‘director of the school’.

Sheedy added that she thinks her character Allison, known as the “basket case” of the film, would have done something “intellectually”, as writer or professor.

The answer was not that simple for Ringwald. She believes that her character Claire, called the ‘princess’, would have had a different path.

“I think Claire is probably married a few times,” Ringwald. “Maybe she decided that she loved women. You know, her children are adults, she is like: ‘Okay, I will try that. “It didn’t work out so well with the boys. ”

Another long -awaited question was whether a sequel was in the making.

The cast said out of respect for the deceased director of the film, John Hughes, another film happened. However, Hall said that it “called and thought of” in an earlier conversation between him and Hughes.

C2E2 and the long -awaited Castreünie ended on Sunday.
