Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool expanded their winning series to 22 games on Friday in the Cincinnati Open, where they took their 11th semi -final of the season in their 11th Tour level.

The British stars hit Sixth Seeds Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori 7-6 (7), 7-6 (4), and earned their first Lexus ATP Head2head victory (1-2) against the Italians. Cash and Glasspool, which are number 1 in the ranking of PIF ATP Live Doubles teams, have already protected their debut spot at the Nitto ATP final of the year.

Cash and Glasspool chase their fifth consecutive title after triumphs in Eastbourne, Queen’s Club, Wimbledon and Toronto. With their victory at the All England Club, they became the first All-British team that has won a big title for Herinubbels since 1936. They then supported it by saving four championship points to beat fellow countrymen Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski for their first ATP Masters 1000 title in Toronto.

They now have a 50-11 record at tour level in 2025, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. With the aim of retaining their line in Cincinnati, the second seeds are confronted with a semi-final confrontation with Rajeev Ram and Nikola Mektic, who beat the seventh seeds Christian Harrison and Evan King 6-4, 6-4.

In the upper half of the draw, Salisbury and Skupski continued to jump back from their defeat of the championship in Toronto by counting defender Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic 6-4, 6-3 to reach the last four.

Salisbury and Skupski, who are number 5 in the ranking of PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams, established a meeting with singles star Lorenzo Musetti and Lorenzo Sonego, who survived Francisco Cabral and Lucas Miedler 6-4, 3-6, 10-6. The Italians are in their first semifinal of the tour level, since they reached their first final in Doha last year.
