Johnston writes”Heart is due to a working number of lovers, with the Carolina Hurricanes, Vegas Golden Knights and one or two other teams among those who are still in the mix, according to competition sources.”

Hart is at zero at potential NHL landing places while he is preparing to complete a contract next week. Hart, 27, brings experience, appeared in 227 NHL games – most of every active keeper of his age except Dallas’ Jake Oettinger. Vegas, with his tandem by Adin Hill and Akira Schmid and Carolina, with goalkeepers Frederik Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov, that profile fit.
