The last NHL game of Hart was a loss of 7-4 for the Colorado Avalanche on January 20, 2024. The past two weeks had been talked about that he could be set up for a reunion with the flyers and that the organization was interested when Hart was eligible to sign a contract with an NHL team on 15 October. This news means that he will not get the flyers again this season.
