Cam Schlittler’s Boston very turn is complete.
In a postseason version that will be remembered for years, the striking Yankees-smokie played a key role in the dominant 4-0 win over the Red Sox in game 3 of the Al Wild Card on Thursday.
Schittler, a fan of Boston as a child, admitted that he was happy to end their Playoff chances in 2025.
“I am happy that their season is ready,” he said.
And since then he enjoys a well -deserved victory round.
The 24-year-old switched 12 batters over eight points-free innings and became the first Rookie in MLB history to achieve such an achievement in a play-off game.
The performance of Schlittler was not only a triumph on the hill, but also a personal victory.
The game grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts, the game had special meaning.
After the game, Schlittler expressed his satisfaction with the outcome, looked forward to the effort and emphasized that Red Sox fans “exceeded a line” by attacking his family members on social media.
“There was a line that they exceeded,” he acknowledged. “I’m a competitor. I go outside and make sure I close them.
“But at the end of the day,” Schlittler added, “there is not much that they can say now.”
He also went to social mediaThe posting of “Draining Die Dirty Water”, referring to a number from 1965 of the Standells written about Boston, a source of pride for the city.
He also posted on X “Not this year” on a Red Sox fan/gaming effort that proclaimed “SOX in 3” before he lost the series.
The victory was not only important because Schittler’s perspective of Schittler destroyed his hometown team in a legitimate historical way, but it still writes a chapter at the continuously flowering rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox.

And of course it ended the Boston season, where they lose from the Yankees despite winning game 1 and have a shot to win Game 2 in the Bronx.
