The ITTF World Hopes Week & Challenge 2025 will take place from 13-19 October 2025 in Sheffield (Eng). The global talent identification activity will bring together players and coaches of all continents, with our experts from the continental activities that 3 players per gender in Asia, America and Europe, 2 per genus in Africa and 1 per genus in Oceania. Up to 7 wildcards per gender will complete the group that meets for an intense week of training and competition in England.
Some of the wildcard spots can be granted based on scouting during the Continental Hopes Weeks and are attending ITTF activities of high performance in the expert recommendations, And extra places selected from this call for applications. For those who respond to the call, the selection will be based on the following criteria:
- Activation of National Hopes Program by the Member Association
- Participation of the player in the hope of hope
- Head Coach/Evaluation of the expert of Hopes Pathway activities players
- 1 -minute video from player uploaded in the training
Registered member associations* have been informed and are invited to fill in the application by 29 August 2025.
*For Mas in North and South America, where the continental hope will take place week later this month and early September, we recommend that you request Wildcards for the players you want to attend the most the World Hopes Week, although they can qualify through the America Hopes selection process.
