The second half of the season of a 3-year renal horse can cause surprises. Nevada Beach Laloosh would have made proud (if he had not been a fictional character) with a dominant victory of 1 ½ length in his Graded Stakes debut in the $ 300,000 Goodwood Stakes in Santa Anita Park. Speed figures: It is no surprise that the Goodwood was a career-best effort for the beach of Nevada. He stimulated his Equibase -speed Figure six points to a 108 and his Beyer speed figure points nine to a 101. All his races have been fast so far, but this was an important improvement against a better opposition caliber.
Looking ahead: In a normal year I can aggressively to the Nevada beach train. He checks almost every box that I am looking for a dirty horse approaching a tent race. But this is not a normal year and this will be an abnormally strong edition of the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
