After 10 years of development, the Bufori CS8 is finally launched. We gave you a first look at the production CS8 of the Affin Bank Track Day event last week at Sepang International Circuit, and now the Coupé is here in its complete glory, without camouflage. What do you think?
In comparison with the CS prototype that we described in 2019, it is immediately clear that the production CS8 is longer, and the good by Kepong (yes, Bufori is there with 150 Malaysian employees) confirm that the wheelbase has been extended by 350 mm. The rear overhanging hanging hangings are also better proportioned, and the extra length also comes the cabin.
The larger body-made of Bufori’s characteristic carbon-keevlar hybrid composite was always in the company’s plans. As we reported in 2019, the extra length and more luxurious attributes are part of a switch from the origin of the prototype of the prototype to a ‘Grand Touring’ letter.

We heard them mention ‘Ultra High Performance GT’, so you can consider the CS8 as Bufori’s display of an Aston Martin Vanquish or Bentley Continental GT speed. Just like those tight British coupes, the Bufori has a large motor behind the long hood.
The ‘8’ in the name stands for the number of cylinders that the 6.4-liter supercharged V8 has based on a hemi, this blueprint specially built engine with forged internals deposits a claimed 810 hp (750 of those horses can be found on the wheels) and 973 Nm torque at 4,800 rpm. You hear a lot of the rumbling V8 from Quad -outdoor points.
While leaving an eight-speed torque-to-converter automatic gearbox that sends Drive to the rear wheels via a differential with limited slip, the CS8 sends the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.0 seconds flat (launch control available), while the top speed is limited to 330 km/h.

The striking figures exceed the original goals of 3.5 seconds and 320 km/h, and they may be helped by an estimated curb weight of 1,550 kg, which weighs about a normal Porsche 911. There is a built -in data log for you to record your fast Shenanigans.
A car that is so fast needs a serious power power, and the brakes are closed and ventilated floating rotors that measure 380 mm in the front and 350 mm on the back, held by six-piston calipers in front and four-piston units at the back, by Brembo. The launch car is wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 4 s tires that pack 19-inch falsified alloys, and not the Pilot Sport Cup 2 R Semi-Slicks used in Sepang last week.
Equipment include automatic LED headlamps/DRLs/foglamps, LED rear lights, auto wipers, keyless entry and remote start, electrochromic rear view mirror, powered steering adjustment, dual-zone AC/heating, electronic parking brake, mood lighting, 13.6-inch portrait touchscreen Infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, A 6.1 Sound System and Wireless Phone Charger, Among Other Kit.

The seats that you see here are with leather-wrapped Achtweg Adjustable Recaros with Vierweg Lumbaal, which are considerably more comfortable than the Sabelt CF-Shell racing chairs in the CS Prototype-Nog a kink in the luxury GT direction.
There are also some functions for auxiliary and convenience functions, on top of basic safety items such as airbags and ESC. Bufori provides an overview of adaptive cruise control, front and rear park help, 360-degree parking camera, blind spot surveillance, lane expulsion warning/assistant and tire pressure surveillance on the brochure. Speaking of this, the CS8 gets a tire repair kit and a nice Snap-on-Tourage kit (WORTH RM13K) in the 252-liter boots.
When it comes to trim, your options are unlimited. It is like adjusting a Bentley, but with the guidance of business owner Gerry Khourri and the possibility to come to the factory to check your masterpiece-in-progress. They will probably take you for lunch afterwards!

Those whose needs go beyond what mass markers can offer, often look Bufori to offer a customized touch to their other normal cars. Fittings for almost everything can be designed and manufactured here, whether it concerns Alphards or aircraft, and we also expect infinite possibilities for the CS8. Owners receive a scale model of their actual CS8, which is a nice touch.
Speaking about options, if you find the 6.4L -Supercharged V8 a bit much, you can have the same engine in natural sucked shape (475 hp/640 Nm, still great), or even a 3.6L V6 in Supercharged (455 hp/495 Nm) or after (320 HP/352 Nm) Goke. Do you want a Twin-Turbo engine with a more ‘manageable’ 3.0L capacity? 550 hp, 677 Nm, can be discussed. But if you go for something as unusual as a bufori, why don’t you go out completely and do you get the full 810 horses?
The Bufori CS8 starts from RM2.188 million on the road without insurance, regardless of the motor choice. That is a lot of money, but perhaps the performance offered and the level of ‘handmadness’ of the car (Khourri says that more than 9,000 man -hours are needed to build a CS8 compared to between 18 and 450 hours for mass -produced cars), plus the exclusivity there will be a few.
We say a few, because although a bufori is not for everyone, the CS8 can be something interesting for someone who all Has everything – the wildcard of the fleet. We come back with a full live gallery.
