The Budi Madani Ron 95 (Budi95) program will start next Tuesday (September 30, 2025) for all Malaysians, with police and army personnel and Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (str) recipients who enjoy it a few days earlier.
Via the Budi95 program, subsidized RON 95 petrol is priced on RM1.99 per liter, which has fallen compared to the current RM2.05 per liter and much less than the non -subsidized price. However, you are limited to a quota of 300 liters subsidized Ron 95 per month.
The remaining quota that you have after each filling is shown in the receipt issued to you, with an example of this in the FAQ for the Budi95 program. In the voucher you will find the amount paid for the total liters, together with how much the government subsidizes your purchase – a bit like your electricity bill.
In the sample reception, the completion of RM20 of Ron95 (on RM1.99 per liter) will receive RM26.63 in fuel for market price (on RM2.65 per liter), whereby the government differs the RM6.63 (RM0.66 per liter) – the total amount of Ron 95 is filled 10.05 Liters.
The Budi95 details show the current month, the previous remaining quota and the most recent used quota, plus details of the gas station. The receipt is automatically printed at the pump terminal or provided to you without a prescription if you make indoor payments.
For users of oil company apps such as Setel or Touch ‘n Go Ewallet, the remaining quota must be shown in the app, making things more convenient instead of keeping it manually with a physical reception.
