Washington Wizards guard Bub Carrington will join Team T-Mac in the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars game, replacing teammate Alex Sarr, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury, the NBA announced Thursday. The match is scheduled for Friday, February 13 at 9pm ET on Peacock.

The 20-year-old Carrington has shown steady development this season, averaging 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 53 games while shooting 39.3% from three-point range. His inclusion on Team T-Mac adds depth to the backcourt alongside rookie Tre Johnson and sophomore Cam Spencer.

Sarr’s hamstring injury limits the Wizards’ representation in the showcase, but Carrington’s participation highlights the team’s emerging young talent. He brings experience from 24 starts and a season-long role in Washington’s rotation, offering versatility as a scoring and facilitating guard.

Team T-Mac already has promising sophomores Zaccharie Risacher, Jaylon Tyson, Alex Sarr (replaced), Kel’el Ware and Cam Spencer.
