Brown Harris Stevens (BHS) welcomes Maggie Ross as the new director of sales for its Brooklyn office, according to an announcement on Wednesday.
Before accepting this position at BHS, Ross was an associate real estate broker at Compass.
In her new role at BHS, Ross will be tasked with overseeing all operations across the brokerage’s four offices in Brooklyn and working with other BHS business and regional industry leaders.
“I am thrilled to be joining Brown Harris Stevens at such a dynamic time for the company,” Ross said in a statement. “This role gives me the opportunity to take the work I find most meaningful – Brooklyn, supporting its agents and deepening our connection to the community – to the next level within one of the most respected brokerages in the country.”
Ross has more than 15 years of experience working with buyers and sellers throughout New York City. She started her career at a boutique brokerage in Cobble Hill before moving to a larger firm in Brooklyn. Before beginning her real estate career, Ross practiced antitrust and commercial litigation in Manhattan.
“Maggie is a star with strong command of both the Brooklyn market and the broader New York City landscape,” Brown Harris Stevens CEO Bess Freedman said in a statement. “Her strategic mindset, collaborative approach and stable leadership make her the ideal choice to guide our operations in Brooklyn and further align the region with the company’s long-term vision.”
