Summer Page, PE –BrookdaleJohnny (Rocking in heaven), with Paul Langille on bike, captured Tuesday night’s harness racing event in Red Shores Summerside.
Doc Awesome (Adam Merner) set the fractions of 28.2, 57.1 and 1:26 for Brookdale Johnny, who was at 5e at the start of the track he chased the faction setter in deep stretch to take his third win in a row, stopping the timer in 1:55.1. Doc Awesome held onto second place and Howmac Exclusive (Corey MacPherson) completed the triactor. The 6-3-1 combination earned $94.90. Brookdale Johnny is owned by Douglas and Doug Polley, Amherst, NS. Phil Sizer was the winning trainer.

Langille, Sizer and the Polley ownership team also sent Brookdale Shelley to victory lane in the evening’s opener. Langille scored with Redland Misspretty for trainer Kyle Williams to record the triple, while First Glance, trained by Devon Wallace, won the final to give Langille the grand slam on the night.
Drivers Brodie MacPhee, Ken Murphy, Corey MacPherson and Adam Merner took driving doubles on the program.
