The Broncos ownership group continues to expand its influence in the NFL.

Owner Carrie Walton Penner was recently appointed as the Health and Safety Committee of the League, a source told the Denver Post. She and husband, Greg Penner, owner and CEO of the Broncos, are in New York this week for meetings of the ownership committee.

Walton Penner is now in three ownership committees, the latter next to the Diversity Committee of the League and the NFL Foundation.

Walton Penner has been involved in various health and safety initiatives. This includes the work that the ownership group has done to study injury problems when it came for the first time, as well as a study that the Broncos did with regard to the health and wellness effects for school-going girls playing flagpoetball and the state-wide campaign of the club to offer State-of-the-Art Helmen for every secondary school football player.

The “All Covered” initiative eventually delivered more than 15,000 Riddell Axiom helmets on a total investment of more than $ 12 million.

The last committee ADD for Walton Penner follows in August that Penner will be appointed as the League management council. This group deals with, among other things, dealing with the NFL Players Association and the collective negotiation agreement of the party. Penner is also in three other committees: finance, ownership and compensation.
