A British woman has been missing for more than a week after a walk to a lake filled with crocodiles while searching for animals in the wild.
Elaine McSorley, 71, and her husband Leon, 81, left their hotel to take a short walk in MKUZE in the province of Kwazulu in South Africa.
Leon decided to return to their accommodation after they found too much the intense heat, but Elaine continued to explore the area.
Three hours later the alarm was raised when she never returned and a search for her has been going on since 27 September.
Signs in the Ghost Mountain Inn where the couple remained warned visitors to crocodiles.
Elaine was reported by the hotel to have requested a instructions from a local farmer.

The area where she has disappeared is thought that it has little crime and the police believe that Elaine would have been found if she had died of natural causes.
A search in which the locals, a police helicopter and K9 units are involved, has not found any trace of her so far.
Crocodiles are connected to hundreds of deaths throughout Africa every year.
They have the strongest bite in the world and can weigh a maximum of 1,650 pounds and measure up to 20ft.
Researchers are also stunned why her husband checked out the hotel so quickly after his wife was missing and while the police search was underway.
Lieutenant -Dolonel Paul Magwaza of the SA -Politie said: ‘The British couple checked at 1 p.m. in the Ghost Mountain Inn and went for a walk at 2 p.m.

‘According to the husband during the walk to the lake, he decided to return and returned to the hotel, but when she did not return, he raised the alarm.
‘We have been looking day and night, but there is no sign of her. It is as if she has disappeared in thin air. The dogs have not picked up any traces either.
‘If she had just collapsed and died, we would have already found her. There are theories about what happened, but I’m not going to speculate. ‘
Ghost Mountain Inn is surrounded by reserves, with species such as lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos and leopards.
A member of a local community political forum reported that Leon suggested that his wife had gone to the lake to photograph a certain hippo.
“It’s a mystery because it is a very safe area for tourists and there is no sign that a crime has happened,” they said.
