British student student has amputated fingers after a serious illness before the flu was mistaken

After having confused a serious illness for a typical autumn season flu, a British teenager now lives a new reality from the near-death experience.

It took a while before Moponda adapted to her new normal and said that it initially “killed my mind” when she just grew up. “This makes me no less a person,” said Moponda. “I am unapologically me and I want to help others to be confident about who they are and what they look like.”

With new prosthetic legs she learns to walk again while she remains provided through her handicap.
