Brave CF heads to Vilnius, Lithuania, for Brave CF 99 on October 18, but the promotion is on the heels of Sizabe’s promotions with Brave CF 98 in Zhengzhou, China, on September 19, on September 19, on September 19, on September 19, on September 19.
Omar Solomanov, Rauli Tutararauli, Nicholas Hwende and Lasha Abramishvili are four of the notable cache-boosting names that came out of those events and their recent achievements are detailed below. Each victor emerged with emphatic performances that now set the stage for their next conquests in the brave cage.
Brave CF 98 and Brave CF 99 standout fighters
Omar Solomanov captured gold at Brave CF 98 while playing the Brave CF Interim featherweight title in a thorough, cerebral performance against Rauan Bekbolat. The wrestling piece told much of the story of the five-round fight, as Solomanov authored a unanimous decision.
With the interim belt in possession, Solomanov is now on track for a camp unification clash with the reigning lineal champion at 145 pounds, Nemat Abdrashitov.
For Rauli Tutararauli, he won big in front of a partisan crowd at Brave CF: Georgia vs. theWorld. The brave CF -interim -lightweight was added to Tutarauli’s mantle. In another dominant, wrestling-oriented effort, the Georgian looked close to a finish in the second stanza with an arm-triangle choke, but ultimately came away with the UD win as the dust settled.
Now, Tutaraulihas are Crosshairs on Abdisalam Uulu Kubanychbek with the objectives of eliminating the lineal champion to become the undisputed champion outright.
Nicholas Hwende stood out in Zhengzhou at Brave CF 98 as the ex-brave bantamweight titleholder returned in style. Now moving up to featherweight, the Zimbabwean fighter outscored partisan favorite Xie Bin and dictated the pace of Bell to Bell. Stoppages looked clear on a few occasions in the match before ultimately scoring a victory on the judges’ scorecards.
While he’s passed here at 145 pounds, Hwende’ remains focused at bantamweight as he longs for a rematch versus reigning 135-pound champion Borislav Nikolić.
In the co-main event in Tbilisi, Lasha Abramishvili saw a dramatic first round stoppage against number three ranked bantamweight prospect Khurshed Nazarov. A straight straight was all it took to drop Nazarov to the mat, while a flurry of hammerfish led to an opening stanza, buzzer beater finish as there was a second left in that opening frame.
This also puts Abramishvili in the bantamweight title contender conversation after earning what is seen as the biggest win of his MMA career as Borislav Nikolić retains his belt and Nicholas Hwende Eyes in a follow-up clash.
