Scouts noticed how well Tatum was on the move and said he is “far ahead” in schedule. There is optimism that Tatum could join Boston in the regular season of 2025-26.

When Jayson Tatum tore his Achilles in mid -May, the Front Office of Celtics saw writing on the wall. Boston would be in the second apron of the MKBA. If they had their full selection, paying the luxury tax is something that it would have considered. Jayson Tatum does not guarantee in 2025-26 and is at full power. Knowing that the Celtics split up their championship schedule from 2024.

The scouts also said that Tatum might have had a slight limp, but that was surprising. What shocked them was the fact that Tatum did not use a walking shoe. Pacers’ Tyrese haliburton tore his Achilles in the NBA final, and he was spotted with wearing one. Will Tatum progress so quickly in the recovery process?
The 2025-26 season of Tatum will be the first year that he will miss a lot of time for Boston. The 27-year-old is a six-fold all-star and was named first team All-NBA in four consecutive seasons. Without the services of Tatum, the Celtics will rely on the scoring output of Jaylen Brown and Derrick White. On August 1 it is still too early to say whether Tatum will appear in the coming season.
