She is rising to new heights
Steffanie Rivers is no stranger to breaking barriers – and now she helps others break into one of the most profitable industries of the decade. As the first black woman in Texas who registers a drone academy, she rises to new heights with TCB drones, a progressive training company that creates real opportunities for people of color to earn certifications, launch career and to contain Topdollar contracts in drone technology.
Her message is clear: black women also fly. And it’s time for us to be paid for it.
Now Rivers is Inviting prospective -Drone -PilotenCareer changers and technical-new professionals for a free Zoom webinar:
Webinar title: From hobby to crowds: Master Drone certification and making money with your skills

Participants will discover how FAA-certified drone pilots earn $ 300-$ 500 per hour, and how TCB drones can help them one of the few and the first-in their communities to cash in.
“Usually when I enter an industry event, I am one of the few black women in the room. That is exactly why I am here – to change that,” Rivers said.
Her programs serve high school students, military veterans and adults who are looking for an alternative to traditional career paths. Through summer camps, self-stable online certification courses and specialty training in air mapping, inspections and search and rescue support, TCB Drones prepares a new generation to flee.
Rivers is already working with national organizations such as Black and Missing, Inc. and the Dock Ellis Foundation, using drone technology for impact in the practice of finding missing persons to support safety efforts in vulnerable communities
This fall she will enter the stage as a recommended panel moderator at the commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas, but her mission starts at home immediately.
“Don’t be afraid to be the only one,” she insisted. “You belong in this industry. You belong in this conversation. Let’s make sure that you are also paid.”
