Is Prime Conor McGregor about to make a comeback? BKFC president David Feldman certainly seems to think so.
Recently the Irish Megastar played heads when he announced during an episode of Fox & Friends That he would make his long -awaited return to the Achthoek when the UFC invades the White House for a history -making night of fighting in the capital of the nation.
The statement of McGregor was confronted with an audible moan of many Vecht fans. Understandable, given the fact that we have heard the former Champ camp his “biggest comeback in combat history” for the most of four years.
Yet Feldman seems to think that this time McGregor is 100% sincere. Not only that, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship founder strongly believes that we will see Old’s Conor McGregor in 2026.
“I think he is very serious about what he is doing with his comeback fight,” Feldman said MMA Fighting. “He is going to fight that fight. Unless something very crazy happens out of the wall. This is really the best Conor McGregor I have seen. Targeted training … He will have long before that July 4 card next year.
“So if he can keep his focus, which I have no reason to believe that he will not do that, and to keep his training and to concentrate on everything, he has a great opportunity to be the old Conor McGregor.”
It is more than four years ago that McGregor was last in the foot in the Octagon. That was for a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier, which ended in tragedy after ‘Mac’ sustained a horrible broken leg injury in the opening round.
