BJP seems to keep the Anti-DMK voice intact in Tamil Nadu, Aiadmk doubts

The BJP has started completing his election strategy for the upcoming Tamil Nadu -assemblage elections, planned early next year, with a focus on strengthening the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) And the prevention of a split in the anti-DMK mood, Sources told India today.

The BJP actively investigates the recording of new alliance partners, while he said his ties with the Aiadmk, his most important ally in the state, said, they said.

Party leaders believe that broadening the NDA will not only vote against the ruling DMK consolidation But also the chances of the coalition to close the gap that can be seen in the polls of 2021, a boost.

In the 2021 elections, after the death of AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa and DMK Patriarch M Karunanidhi, the secular Progressive Alliance guided by DMK won a comfortable majority.

The DMK secure 133 seats alone, while the Alliance fell 159 out of 234 seats in the assembly.

The NDA guided by AIADMK won 75 seats, with the party 66 secure. The general voice share difference between the two alliances was around six percent.

Amit Shah-Eps Delhi met

Earlier this week, AIADMK met Secretary -General and former Minister -President Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) Minister of the Interior Amit Shah in Delhi to discuss the preparations for the elections.

The conversations are reportedly related to strategies to strengthen the NDA campaign and the possible return of some former AIADMK leaders who had been driven out of the party.

AIADMK sources said that EPS Shah made it clear that the return of deposited leaders could disrupt the unity of the Alliance.

However, the BJP is said that it is considering having to accommodate O Panneerselvam (OPS), the former vice minister president who was driven out of the Aiadmk.

OPS can formally join the BJP at the end of December or January, although this can set the BJP at odds with EPS, the sources believe.

Diverse views on potential partners

Another point of a pity between the Allies is or the Feast of the Tamil film star Vijay, the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), should be invited to the NDA.

EPS has shown interest in such a step and claims that Vijay, who belongs to the Pillai -Kaste, could attract support from forward caste groups.

However, the BJP leadership is cautious and convinced that his entry could harm more than help than by cutting in the voter base of the DMK.

The BJP also weighs the role of TTV Dhinaratan, leader of the father Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) and cousin of VK Sasisila, the effect aid of Jayalalithaa.

BJP strategists see Dhinakaran, who belongs to the Thevar community, as someone who could broaden the attraction of the NDA.

If EPS refuses to add him again in the Aiadmk, the BJP can try to bring him directly into its fold.

Sasikala itself cannot dispute, but can be persuaded to campaign for the NDA, says sources.

The PMK, another former NDA fellow with a base under the Vanniyar community, is also made the court, although differences about the conditions for involvement remain.

Strategy that takes shape

Insiders of the party say that the BJP High Command is aimed at guaranteeing that smaller parties do not fragment the mood against the DMK.

The central leadership is of the opinion that the AIADMK must accept new election comparisons and differ in the past if the NDA is a serious challenge for the prevailing dispensation.

The sources further added that joint campaigns of the BJP and AIADMK are expected to start next month, aimed at attacking the DMK government on important management issues.

While obstacles remain, the BJP seems determined to broaden the NDA paraplu and to strengthen its position for a crucial election struggle.
