Big land, small prizes and real lifestyle gains: inside the move to Sydney’s Menangle Park

From new highways to employment hubs and planned communities, changes are rapidly transforming South West Sydney and capturing buyers’ attention.

The recently opened Spring Farm Parkway has made commuting easier, connecting residents directly to the Hume Highway and reducing travel time by up to 15 minutes.

Add to this the arrival of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis and large new housing developments, and this region is emerging as one of Sydney’s most dynamic growth corridors.

At the heart of this evolution is Menangle Park, a thriving new community from Dahua Group Australia that brings together lifestyle, space and affordability in one of the city’s most connected postcodes.

Menangle Park is growing into a thriving community in South West Sydney.

More than a display: a window into the future of community life

Menangle Park has just celebrated the grand opening of the highly anticipated Display Village – a showcase of 34 beautifully designed homes that showcase how life in South West Sydney is changing.

“We had a great opening of the display village and more than 1,000 people came out to view the homes and celebrate,” said Jesse Johnson, sales manager at Urban Land Housing.

The event set a festive tone with food trucks, children’s activities, competitions and plenty of inspiration for new home buyers.

“The feedback we got from the builders was that it was one of the biggest turnouts they have ever seen for a village opening,” Mr Johnson said.

“We had buyers who wanted to buy, and buyers who had already bought and wanted to talk to the builders.”

In the Display Village, visitors can explore homes from some of NSW’s leading names – including Everyday Homes, Domaine Homes, Firstyle Homes, Sundancer Homes and Practical Homes – alongside boutique and mid-builds.

The designs range from compact, affordable options to expansive family homes, all created to achieve a 7-star BASIX rating and light-colored roofs that improve energy efficiency and keep the neighborhood cooler in the summer.

Space to move, grow and bloom

One of the standout features of Menangle Park is its flexibility.

Land is available from 250 m² to over 6,700 m², with prices starting from $499,000, giving buyers the freedom to build a home to suit their stage of life.

“There is land for first home buyers, families and those looking for a spacious rural lifestyle,” says Johnson.

“The viewing village contains affordable homes and homes with more luxurious finishes and extras.”

For those chasing the dream of a country-inspired life, the upcoming Stage Four South release features blocks ranging from 6,500 sqm to 2.15 hectares, priced from $1.25 million.

Builders such as Better Built Homes, Verona Homes, Fowler Homes and GJ Gardner Homes are already designing custom homes suitable for these larger locations.

With a range of site sizes and close links to parks, transport and more, there’s something for everyone at Menangle Park.

Community on the rise

With six stages already sold out, the momentum at Menangle Park continues to grow.

“The Spring Farm Parkway’s direct access to the highway has really opened people’s eyes to the value of Menangle Park being close to the city,” Johnson said.

Buyers so far have mainly been owner-occupiers – from first-time homeowners to growing families – but investor interest is also increasing, with around 400 blocks expected to be completed before the end of the year.

In addition to the exhibition homes, Dahua Group’s masterplan for Menangle Park will deliver more than 4,000 homes across 498 hectares, including 41 hectares of open parkland, a future town center with shops, restaurants and shops, and a future early learning and childcare center.

When completed it will also include sports reserves, schools and pedestrian-friendly green links that will bring the community together.

“The advantage is that you have all the amenities there, but you also have good access to Sydney’s CBD by train and road,” Mr Johnson said.

“You have good schools in the area, Macarthur Square for shopping, and it’s close to Campbelltown.”
