Boustead Petroleum Marketing (BHPetrol) has announced that the lubricants have received its lubricants The Sirim Real Product License Certification from Sirim Qas International. This certification has been received for the Sygard Passenger Vehicle Motor Lubricant, Transcompetition Vehicle Motor Lubricant and Dash Motorcycle Motor lubricant product ranges.
The certification of BHPetrol -Smeermiddelproducts was carried out in response to the planned enforcement and action that the Ministry of Interior Trade and Costs of Living (KPDN) (KPDN) (KPDN) (KPDN) against lubricant products that are supplied without Sirim certification, which are made in force of 7 October 2025.
This certification means that BHPetrol smearing products that have been manufactured and packaged from this date receives light green Sirim QR code stickers, indicating compliance with the products of Sirim standards. For existing inventory, Licht-Pink Sirim QR code stickers are distributed under BHPetrol Business Partners, and which will be applied to lubricants that are already in storage, stated BHPetrol.
Since the rollout of both light green and light QR code stickers for newly produced oils and existing shares will take place in phases respectively, BHPetrol will continue to provide updates to its business partners and customers and KPDN to ensure full transparency and compliance with the real product labeling requirements.
The order of trade descriptions (certification and marking of motorcycle oil for motor vehicles) 2024 was displayed on 11 October last year, although enforcement was postponed by six months until the aforementioned date of 7 October to allow the manufacturers of lubricants to comply with the new regulation.
According to this regulation, all motor oils are required to undergo an authentication process through Sirim Qas International, the organization responsible for certifying and publishing labels of product compliance.
