India operating revenue rose 13.2% year-on-year to Rs 39,226 crore, supported by continued premiumization in the mobile segment, strong momentum in the Homes segment and steady performance from Airtel Business, the company said.
Airtel’s mobile revenue in India grew 9.1% year-on-year to Rs 28,651.6 crore, driven by an improvement in ARPU and strong growth in smartphone data customers.

It is the highest in the industry, with market leader Reliance Jio’s ARPU at Rs 213.70.
“Our balance sheet strength, reinforced by strong cash generation and continued deleveraging, positions us well to invest in new growth opportunities,” Vittal added.
