Airtel India Business
India Business placed quarterly turnover of RS 37,585 Crore, with 29% JoJ and 2.3% QOQ, supported by improved realizations in mobile segment and a strong momentum in housing activities. The mobile services in India reported a 21.6% YOY turnover growth powered by ARPU improvements and continuous strong additions of smartphones.
Airtel Business saw the income fall by 7.7% JoJ as a result of portfolio transformation, in accordance with the strategic objective of the company to terminate low marginal activities, the company said that the underlying income performance remains stable.
Digital TV income fell by 1.8% yo -y, while passive infrastructure services registered a turnover increase of 4.3% QOQ, powered by 2,500 sites additions in Q1FY26.
AIRTEL Customer additions
Net customer additives were at a record high of 9.39,000 in Q1FY26, led by continued momentum in both FTTH and FWA segments.
Consolidated income before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) on RS 28,167 Crore, while the EBITDA -Marge was 56.9%. India Business placed EBITDA of RS 22.352 Crore while the EBITDA margin was reported at 59.5%, an increase of 598 BPS Yoy.
Africa operations

Management commentary
In commentary on Airtel’s performance, vice-chairman and MD Gopal Vittal, the company said that the company still supplied a quarter of consistent growth. “Our India income, including passive infrastructure services, rose by 2.3% successively. Africa reported solid performance with 6.7% growth in constant currency. India Mobile Business registered a sequential growth of 2.9%, driven by continuous focus on the premiumization portfolio and an extra day in the quarter.
“Our balance continues to demonstrate strength, supported by generating solid cash flow and disciplined capital allocation,” he added.
