Bharat Coking Coal, Aequs gets Sebi Knik to launch IPOs

Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has given approval for the first public offers (IPOs) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited and AEQUS Limited.

While Bharat Coking received observations on September 19, AEQUS received the approval of Sebi on September 18.

Bharat Coking Coal IPO

Coal India submitted the Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) design for the proposed first public offer (IPO) of its entire subsidiary, Bharat Coking Coal (BCCL) in June of this year.

The IPO will be a purely offer for sale (OFS) of a maximum of 46.57 crore shares shares by Coal India. No new shares are issued, which means that the proceeds will continue to the parent company completely. Most important details such as the price band and party size are later announced in consultation with the bookleading managers.

Icici Securities and Idbi Capital Markets and Securities are the bookstead managers for the BCCL IPO, while Kfin Technologies will act as a registrar.

AEQUS IPO

AEQUS Limited, a vertically integrated manufacturer of precision component with possibilities in the space segment and the consumer segment, received SEBI observations for its pre-filed DRHP compared to the proposed IPO. The company is active in three vertically integrated precision production ecosystems-guided precision production ecosystems, so that it can produce complex products for global OEM customers in space and consumer sectors.


The Public Offer Comprises A Fresh Issue of Equity Shares and An Offer for Sale (OFS) .its Key Clients Include Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Collins Aerospace, Spirit Aerosystems Inc. Safran, GKN Aerospace, Mabea Aerostructures and Sabca in the Aerospace Segment, and Spinmaster, Wonderchef, and Tramontina in the Consumer Segment.jm Financial, IIFL Capital and Kotak Mahindra Capital are the book Lead Managers for the Praxar.

AEQUS started the production of aero-structure components and aero-engine components, for space customers in units in the Belagavi production cluster in 2009.

Over the past 15 years, it has consistently grown his company by developing and acquiring new production possibilities and diversifying product portfolio and customer base in space and consumer segments. It expanded its production activities strategically in North America and France, through acquisitions in 2015 and 2016, so that it could acquire the new possibilities in the space segment, to grow his footprint in North America and Europe and to expand its product portfolio.
