Best True Wireless Sports Earbuds with Ear Hooks in 2026: No More Earbuds Falling Out When You’re Active

Anker Soundcore Aerofit Pro: The Anker Soundcore AeroFit Pro has dropped in price since they hit the market in late 2023, now costing around $100 down from $180. They’re still among the better open-ear “air ducting” earbuds, with a premium look and feel, comfortable fit, and reasonably strong audio quality for these types of earbuds, with adequate bass and volume, plus decent clarity. The AeroFit2 Pro will be released in May 2026.

1More Fit SE S30: 1More makes the newer S50 and S51 earhook models (about $80), which have a premium design and slightly better sound, but the Fit SE S30 is reasonable enough at under $30 for those on a tight budget.

Skullcandy Push Active: With so many new wireless earbuds and headphones coming out probably every week, it’s not easy for companies to differentiate their products in the marketplace. In 2021, Skullcandy hoped its new voice-activated platform, Skull-iQ Smart Feature Technology, would do just that. Similar to Apple AirPods’ “Hey Siri” feature, Skullcandy’s version lets you say “Hey, Skullcandy” to issue hands-free voice commands without touching a button. The buttons are still available, but there is the newer one Press Active ANC ($80).

JBL Endurance Peak 3: JBL will release a new Endurance Peak model in spring 2026. These 3rd generation ear hook style sports earbuds will be released in 2023 and should be available at a decent discount. Available in black or white, the Endurance Peak 3 earbuds offer better battery life (up to 10 hours with four additional charges in the case), improved voice calling performance, and an IP68 rating making them completely waterproof and dustproof. They also have an Ambient Aware transparency mode and Talk Thru mode that can automatically lower the volume level of your music and open the controls to the outside world. This means that you can have a conversation with someone without removing the earbuds from your ears.

Beyerdynamic Amiron 200: Beyerdynamic is known for its sound quality, so it’s no surprise that the Amiron 200, the first open earbuds with ear hooks, deliver premium sound with beautiful depth and richness. They have very good clarity and bass performance for this type of open earbuds and match the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds and Shokz OpenFit 2 in sound quality, and they may sound slightly better than those models depending on the fit you get. Unfortunately, the only major caveat with these buds is the way they fit in your ears. Although they fit comfortably and securely in my ears, they bent the tops of my ears back a bit, so I looked a little strange when wearing them. That said, they fit my wife’s smaller ears perfectly.

Baseus Eli Sport 1: The Eli Sport 1 retails for around $80 (currently $49 discounted). While they may not sound as good as some of the premium open earbuds out there – there can be a hint of distortion at higher volumes on bass-heavy songs – they sound pretty decent for their modest price and I found them comfortable to wear. They look more premium than their price would suggest. They have 16.2mm drivers, are IPX4 splashproof and have a battery life of up to 7.5 hours at moderate volume levels.
