Manchester United has officially unveiled their third selection frame of the summer.
Benjamin Sesko has completed his long -awaited relocation of RB Leipzig in a blockbuster Transfer € 85 million (£ 73.5 million).
The 22-year-old scored 21 goals in all competitions for Leipzig Last campaign.
In 87 performances for the Bundesliga side, Sesko took 39 goals and eight assists.
Director of United of Recruitment, Christopher Vivell, played a key role in pulling the strings behind the scenes to close the deal.
Vivell is an old admirer of the Slovenian striker and believes that he has the potential to spear the attack of United for the coming years.
The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo earlier this summer.
They will probably occupy the two number 10 places with Sesko in advance.
Sesko has the ideal profile for a modern striker.
He has acceleration quickly and will be a constant threat with his runs behind the defenders.
Towering at 6ft 5, he offers an impressive presence on the air that United was very lacking.
He is never afraid to pull the tractor over distance, a feature that United could see more from outside the box next season.
Sesko is still very young and raw, but is able to get moments that look directly like a video game.
Arsenal and Newcastle United also had Sesko on their transfer shortlist.
The Magpies even submitted two proposals, but the Slovenian only wanted to move to Old Trafford.
United host Arsenal in a glorified Premier League opener next weekend.
It will be interesting to see if Ruben calls Amorim his newest superstar in the starting XI, because he will only have a week to gel with his new teammates.
