A big week of Thanksgiving football continues with a Black Friday special between the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles at 3:30 PM ET in Philadelphia. Both teams lead their respective divisions with 8-3 records, so this is a huge matchup in the NFC.
Let’s dive into my Bears vs. Eagles predictions dive.
Odds Chicago Bears vs Philadelphia Eagles
Moneyline: Bears +270 / Eagles -340
Spread: Bears +7 (-110) / Eagles -7 (-110)
Total: Over 44 (-110) / Under 44 (-110)
Chicago Bears Philadelphia Eagles Best Bet No. 1: Over 44 (-110)
It’s true that the Eagles’ offense is sputtering, but they are too talented to contain for too long. We’re talking about guys like Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. Philadelphia’s offensive line is in turmoil, but Chicago may not be able to take advantage of that. Even when healthy, the Bears’ pass rush hasn’t been great in 2025 (23 sacks). And they are certainly not healthy right now. The visitors do not have a single starting linebacker available for Friday; TJ Edwards, Ruben Hyppolite II and Noah Sewell are all sidelined. DE Dominque Robinson and CB Tyrique Stevenson are also on the shelf; CB Jaylon Johnson is questionable.
Chicago should also be able to move the ball – as it has done all year under new head coach and offensive wizard Ben Johnson. He has second-year QB Caleb Williams heading in the right direction, and that’s an understatement. The 2024 overall No. 1 pick has a 16-to-4 touchdown-to-interception ratio and has also rushed for three touchdowns. The Bears are No. 6 in the NFL in total offense and No. 8 in scoring.
Chicago Bears Philadelphia Eagles Best Player Prop Bet: Saquon Barkley Over 76.5 rushing yards (-114)
There’s no denying that Barkley has been disappointing this season, especially lately. The former Penn State standout has rushed for just one touchdown since Week 4, coming off a 22-yard performance against the Cowboys.
Other than that, there’s no reason to panic about this relative funk. Barkley has still been productive in 2025, just not compared to last year. He comes in with 684 rushing yards, 259 receiving yards and six total TDs. He has gained at least 83 yards on the ground in two of the last four games, including a 150-yard performance against the Giants on Oct. 26. The Bears are No. 28 in the NFL against the run (138.1 yards per play) and No. 30 in yards per rush allowed (5.2). Barkley was good (by most players’ standards). It’s time for him to come back to life Great.
