The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has followed what has been seen as an ‘invisible Boycott’ policy for his matches against Pakistan in the current edition of the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates. India And Pakistan will collide on Sunday 28 September in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the final of the continental competition.
According to reports, BCCI will continue with its invisible boycott policy, because there will be no officer of the board in the location to witness the Summit collision in the 17th edition of the Asia Cup.
This boycott policy was first investigated for the group a collision between India and Pakistan. Instead of canceling the match because of the constant tension between the two countries, the BCCI decided to keep top office carriers away from cameras.
India has played two games against Pakistan in the Asia Cup so far. The men in Blue defeated Salman Agha’s men through seven wickets in group A. Both teams met again in the Super Fours, and this time India came as a victor through six wickets.
Suryakumar Yadav did not score too many points in the tournament, but he has led the young Indian side brilliantly. Abhishek Sharma is the star artist for India and scored three half centures in six games. Kuldeep Yadav has been exemplary with the ball. He is the leading Wicket-Taker, who has caught 13 Wickets in six games with an average of 9.85. Both Abhishek and Kuldeep each won two player from the Match Awards.
In the meantime, Pakistan won the Super Fours with victories against Oman and De Vae. After the defeat against India in the super-four stage, the men in Green had their backs against the wall. They played two must-win games against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Pakistan managed to win both games to guarantee a place in the Summit collision.
Pakistan will rely on Sahibzada Farhan in the Batting department. He scored half a century against India in the last meeting between the two parties. On the bowling front they go on Shaheen Afridi, who has made a player of the match performance against Bangladesh in the last match.
