Wilkes-Barre Pa – Younger horses on their way to larger wallets (and harder competition) met for $ 15,500 in a few harness races on Monday afternoon at Pocono Downs in Mohegan Pennsylvania. One of the headliners was a pace for spinaffs, the other a trot.
In the drunk function, the striking gray Barhopping Sophomore Gelding Messenger Hanover, tweede in zijn Stallion Series Championship, won voor de tweede opeenvolgende keer, hier met een nieuw cijfer van 1:54 voor chauffeur George Napolitano Jr., trainer Ron Burke, en de samenwerking van Burke Racing Stable LLC en Weaver Bruscemi LLC, Jim Simpson, en J & T Silva Purnel & Libby. Giving a good pursuit of the two-hole and only three parts of a length back at the wire was Lionheart Hanover, the winning (13) and the fastest (1: 58.2) Trotter on the Pennsylvania Fairs this summer, in good coordination for his $ 25,000 Divisional Fair Fair Sire Sire Sire Sire. That card, with $ 200,000 in wallets for the eight Pafs sections in general, will be signed on Tuesday 7 October, when Pocono closes its racing week with a start of 1 p.m.
The Pacing women were led by the Lazarus N Three-year-old Merrieveeulen Shesgottthejack, who remained connected to the front group behind PaceSetter Wequeath (: 27.3 ,: 55.3, 1: 23.1) while the field raced in two packages of four before half. Shesgotthejack tilted wide in the play and caught the favorite Lily White Hanover, who had come out of the pocket to get the stretch lead, while put the clock in 1: 52.1. Ridge Warren rode the winner, third in the recent NJ Classic, for trainer Jacob Hartline and Anatolia Racing LLC.

The $ 12,500 fast-class function for pacing fillings and mares offered a showcase for the Donating Mare Stonecoltreachery, who did not look back while placing fractures from: 26.2 ,: 54 and 1:21 on his way to success in 1: 49.4 for driver Jim Marohn Jr., trainer Juan Cano and owner Hot Lead Farm. The four-year-old raised her career income in six digits with this victory, but she had previously shown her power to get a check in the Lady Liberty against Sylvia Hanover and Twin B Joe Fresh.
The Napolitano, Anthony and George Jr. brothers joined Ridge Warren when driving three winners on the Monday Pocono Card.
There will be a transfer in the last Race High 5 Wager on the map on Tuesday 1 pm. Free Pocono program pages are or will be available on www.phha.org.
