The waitress also called her boss, who tried to get her to pay half of the uncovered tab.
A waitress in Baltimore tearfully shouted at diners who forked over their $200 bill after her boss told them to pay the bill.
The waitress, who works at a Crafty Crab location, became emotional as she recalled the incident where the group lost their bill before paying their debt. The woman scolded the scamming customers for forcing her to deal with their negligent move. His Onsite re-shared the woman’s tirade against the reckless customers.
She highlighted the carelessness of the rude diners as they did not consider who should make up for their expensive bill.
“I can’t believe I’m crying. I’m so frustrated. Because why would you do that?” she asked. “Like, why the hell are you such a king that you would come to [somebody’s] establishment and end up on the af-king bill, not knowing what happens next?
The server then started calling for her manager. She said the man tried to blame her for not making sure customers stayed to pay their bills.
“My manager is such a piece of shit, like he’s trying to be such a piece of shit [say its] it’s my fault. B-tch, it’s not my fault. I’ve done everything I can [was] what I had to do… I did everything I had to do. I checked the b-tches, and [they] was gone for two f-king seconds. You want me to run after these b-tches? I don’t do that. That’s not in my f-king, that’s not in my job description.
Through her tears, the waitress then told how the manager tried to get her to pay half the bill. However, she stood her ground against the manager and told him she wouldn’t do that because it was illegal.
“Then I talked about paying half as soon as I said, ‘B-tch, that’s illegal,’ he said, ‘Oh no, we’re not doing that. ‘ Yeah, b-tch, don’t play with me. It’s enough. There’s enough shit going on in this f–king establishment. You’re not going to make me pay for a $200 bill.”
Under Maryland law, employers can’t make a tipped employee pays the bill if a customer walks away without paying. She also posted images of the conversation with the manager.

The video quickly went viral because of the courage of the manager and the customers. An empathetic public figure, Big Freedia, offered to help the woman with the unexpected costs.
“Send your cash app [love],” said the influencer.
Others encouraged the tired worker to file a complaint with the Ministry of Labor over her problems. Although she was fired from the Towson eatery, she posted a follow-up on TikTok thanking her supporters.
