The Ballon d’Or from 2025 will be announced on Monday with the greatest individual honor of football to be awarded.
It is the 69th edition of the annual prize, handed over to the football player recognized as the world’s best the previous season.

When is the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony?
The presentation of the Ballon d’Or will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025, in the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France. The prices start at 8 p.m. BST.
Who is the favorite for the Ballon d’Or from 2025?
Paris Saint-Germain Forward Ousmane Dembele is the leader who took the prize, after his role in the triple success of the club last season. Last season, Dembele scored 35 goals in 53 games, in a campaign that culminated in the Maiden Champions League triumph of the club. Unbelievable, the Frenchman has never been nominated before, but is now the favorite to win the illustrious prize.
Barcelona duo Lamine Yamal and Raphinha are also supposed to be contrary to Dembele’s PSG teammate Vitinha, who also lifted the Nations League with Portugal in the summer. Liverpool-wing player Mohamed Salah is expected to be the highest ranked Premier League player.
