India’s largest NBFC reported a net total income of Rs 13,170 crore, up 20% in Q2FY26 from Rs 10,946 crore in Q2FY25.Operating profit before provisions rose 21% in Q2FY26 to Rs 8,874 crore, compared to Rs 7,307 crore in Q2 FY25.
Loans
The number of new loans booked in Q2FY26 stood at 1.22 crore, compared to 97 lakh in Q2FY25, a growth of 26%.
Customer Franchise
Customer franchise stood at Rs 11.06 crore as on September 30, 2025, compared to Rs 92.09 lakh as on September 30, 2024, a growth of 20%. The customer franchise grew by Rs 41.3 lakh in the July-September quarter of FY26.
Asset quality
Credit losses and provisions rose 19% in Q2FY26 to Rs 2,269 crore, compared to Rs 1,909 crore in Q22 FY25. Annualized credit losses and provisions for average assets under financing for the second quarter of 2026 were 2.05%. Gross NPA and net NPA stood at 1.24% and 0.60% respectively as on September 30, 2025, compared to 1.06% and 0.46% as on September 30, 2024. The provision coverage ratio on phase 3 assets stood at 52%.
The capital adequacy ratio (CRAR) (including Tier-II capital) stood at 21.23% as of September 30, 2025, while the Tier-I capital stood at 20.54%.
Meanwhile, its subsidiary Bajaj Housing Finance, which earlier announced its earnings, had reported an 18% PAT increase in Q2FY26 to Rs 643 crore, compared to Rs 546 crore in Q2FY25. The NII rose 34% in Q2FY26 to Rs 956 crore, compared to Rs 713 crore in Q2FY25. Meanwhile, assets under management had grown 24% to Rs 1,26,749 crore as on September 30, 2025, from Rs 1,02,569 crore as on September 30, 2024.
