Congress leader Rahul Gandhi condemned the three controversial bills that set the removal of the prime minister or first ministers on Wednesday if they have completed 30 days in prison for serious charges, and suggested that the move seems to be reduced the country to the Middle Ages.

“We go back to the Middle Ages when the king can just remove anyone to his will, or if he doesn’t like someone’s face, he could get the ED to have them arrested, and a democratically chosen person can be thrown away within 30 days,” said opposition in Lok Sabha.
While the government introduced the bill of the Constitution (130th amendment), the Government of Union Territories (amendment) and the reorganization (change) of Jammu and Kashmir (change), the opposition went into the attack mode and cracked copies of the Law on Wednesday.
“There is a war going on between those who attack the Constitution and those who defend it,” said the congression leader, who was wearing a black T-shirt as he spoke about the legislation as a sign of protest.
