I usually got over the shin spots that were mentioned in my last post by Friday (although they are still a bit painful when I try to stretch them). So since last Friday I was able to go faster during my journeys, both Friday and Sunday are hard journeys, including intervals and on-bike strength training, while Saturday and yesterday were hard training sessions on the upper body. It felt great to be able to go faster again. Sunday’s ride included a pleasant visit to Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch Park in South San Jose. This week it was hot again but still cool in the morning, so I got all my training sessions early.
