A six -week -old baby was one of the 15 people who died of hunger in Gaza for the past 24 hours, said local health officials, with malnutrition who now killed faster than at any time in the 21 -month war.
The child died in a hospital department in northern Gaza, said the health officers and called him as Yousef al-Safadi.
His uncle, Adham al-Safadi, told news agency Reuters Yousef’s family could not find a baby formula to feed him.
“You can’t get milk anywhere, and if you find one, it’s $ 100 for a bath,” he said, looking at his dead cousin.
Three of the others were also children, including 13-year-old Abdulhamid Al-Ghalban, who died in a hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis. The other two children were not mentioned.
Palestinian health officials say that at least 101 people died of hunger during the conflict, including 80 children, with most of them in recent weeks.

“Nobody has been spared: caregivers in Gaza also need care. Doctors, nurses, journalists and Humanitarians are hungry,” said UNRWA commissioner -general Philippe Lazzarini in a statement.
There has been international conviction of massive murders of citizens and terrible shortages of help in Gaza, but no action that the conflict has stopped, or considerably increased stocks.
President Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission said on Tuesday that images of citizens who were killed during the distribution of aid were “unbearable” and urged Israel to provide promises to improve the situation, but did not say which action would take European countries.
Israel’s army said that “the transfer of humanitarian aid to Gaza regards as a matter of the utmost importance”, and works to facilitate access to coordination with the international community.
It has denied accusations that it prevents help Gaza from reaching and the Palestinian militant group of Hamas has accused of stealing food, a statement that Hamas denies.
Daily food collection has become a deadly task for Gazans, in which one UN agency estimates that more than 1,000 people have died while trying to receive food aid since May.
Israeli military statistics showed on Tuesday that an average of 146 trucks of help per day had arrived in the course of the war.
The United States have said that at least 600 trucks a day are needed to feed the population of Gaza.
