The Lyrebird Health Startup Lyrebird Health, which was established in Melbourne, recently collected $ 12 million in new financing from a venture round led by Five V Capital and the Octopus Ventures, based in the United Kingdom, with the participation of StartMate.
It is launched in 2023 and offers a generative AI-driven clinical documentation tool for general practitioners. The AI writer is integrated into the market leading EMR systems in Australia, such as Best practice and Gentu.

In a blog post, Lyrebird Health shared that it will use its new funds for global expansion, starting in the United Kingdom.
In February the startup announced its first British partnership with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust for a phased implementation of her AI writer.
“With this increase we will deepen our investment in product quality, privacy and safety,” founded founder Kai van Lieshout.
