The two best players in the world, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, learned about their respective groups at the upcoming ATP Finals next Thursday to draw in Turin, Italy.
The season-ending ATP Finals will feature the top eight players in men’s singles and doubles, based on their results during the 2025 season. The event lasts a week and is considered the biggest after the four Grand Slams.
Sinner, the defending ATP Finals champion, will headline the Bjorn Borg Group, which will also feature Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti.
If Musetti, currently ranked No. 9 in the world, wins the ATP 250 title in Athens this week, he will qualify as the eighth seed. Otherwise, Auger-Aliassime will continue as the eighth seed.
The Jimmy Connors group is led by top seed Alcaraz. He is joined by 24-time champion Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur.
Spaniard Alcaraz, who reached the semi-finals in 2023, is aiming for his first title at the season-ending championships, while Sinner was an undefeated champion in 2024.
Besides Sinner, the other former champions at this year’s event are Djokovic (record seven titles) and Zverev (two).
The 2025 ATP Finals will be held from November 9 to 16 on the hard courts of the 12,000-capacity Inalpi Arena.
The tournament will follow a round-robin format, with the top two players from each group advancing to the knockout stages.
The tournament will offer a record $15.5 million in prize money – an increase of $250,000 from 2025. An undefeated champion can earn a record $5.07 million.
