Crapaud, op – Atlantic Canada’s premier yearling sale is scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. (AST) start time on Friday (3:30am Saturday New Zealand time) at the Crapaud Fairgrounds in Crapaud, PEI
The 2025 Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale is expected to sell more than 140 yearlings, including the first crops of Fine Diamond and Colossal Killean, along with Atlantic staples on the trotting and pacing side. The trotting side will also see the return of the stallion Muscle Through It, whose first crop in Atlantic Canada competed at 100 percent. The sale also includes horses eligible for the Quebec, New York, Pennsylvania, Ontario and New Jersey stakes programs.

Thursday’s preview saw a strong turnout, says Sale chairman Nicholas Oakes.
“Atlantic horse people showed up in droves to watch an exceptional group of yearlings, available for a stakes program, grow stronger each season,” says Oakes. “Local breeders can be proud of the work they have done in preparing for this exciting day in Island racing. We look forward to seeing everyone in Crapaud for the 11.30am start.”
