Athletic Bilbao’s squad to travel to Tyneside has been announced for the Newcastle United match on Wednesday evening.
The 23-member selection will depart from Bilbao airport today at 3:30 PM.
All eyes were on the question of whether star player Nico Williams would be part of Athletic Bilbao’s selection.
The club announcement (see below) showing he will not be making the trip.
Athletic Bilbao’s squad was also missing a number of other players.
Yuri Berchiche, Oihan Sancet, Unai Egiluz, Benat Prados, yyeay Alvarez, Maroan Sannadi, Inigo Lecue and Imaki Williams will also not travel to Tyneside.

The tour group will depart Bilbao Airport for Newcastle at 3:30 PM CET on Tuesday afternoon, arriving at Innside by Meliá Newcastle around 5:30 PM GMT.
