Aston Villa FPL Gameweek 11 Winners

The Premier League has reached the November international break and our Aston Villa FPL competition took a big step forward with a 4-0 home win.

Villa comfortably defeated AFC Bournemouth at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon and Fantasy Premier League players who stuck with their Villa squad were rewarded for their loyalty.

Let’s take a look at last week’s scores in the Premier League official FPL game.

Aston Villa FPL top scorers in GW11

If you’ve ever doubted FPL’s ability to translate good real-world performances into truly reflective scores, this Gameweek 11 should put your mind at ease.

Villa’s two best players were Argentinian duo Emiliano Martínez and Emi Buendía, the two best players on the pitch against Bournemouth.

Martínez added three penalty saves and a clean sheet on his way to bonus points and a record 14.

Buendía’s goal was boosted by 11 defensive contributions, bonus points and a GW11 total of 11 points.

Lucas Digne and Amadou Onana each gained nine points from the match against Bournemouth, while a further five achieved six points each. One of these was Ezri Konsa, who remains the most selected Villa player, appearing in 8.4% of the teams in GW11.

Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash are next on the list in that regard, but you can be sure that Buendía, which is only owned by 0.4% of teams, will make a jump in the rankings very soon.

AVF FPL update GW11

Niall Relihan has revised Ahmed Elgharably to sneak into the top five, true Warren Torch in second place gained 20 points on the leader Gary James in GW11.

William McGuinness was our top scorer, racking up 64 points in a game week that saw the total generally decimated across the board. The Villa goalkeeper played his role alongside captain João Pedro and Igor Thiago.

My team gained a few places despite a modest victory, albeit with some points over Dan Hemming, which for me is more important than you might think.

At the bottom there were big gains for 44 points Johannes Mortimerwhose jump drops to 73rd Lucy Smith in the bottom two, only two points ahead James Brownrigg whose 51 points really tightened things up at the foot of the table.
