“I feel good now. It has been five to six weeks. Good process, good routines for the past six weeks and fingers crossed. [the sports hernia injury] In fact, it was diagnosed close to the end of IPL. I felt it because I also had a similar kind of injury last year and that’s how I learned to know. So there were few checklists. I tried those things and then I realized that it’s time to do a little MRI, “Suryakumar told the BCCI.
Coe -Coaches understand my body: Suryakumar
The right -handed Slagman acknowledged that the conditioning coach and physios had led him during his recovery. He also said that the process was approached a week at a time, which led to a steadily and complete recovery. He is ready to lead the Indian team for the first time in his career in a big tournament, whereby India would open their Asia Cup 2025 campaign against hosts UAE on 10 September.
“When I did that [the scans]” [the injury] Was very clear in that. I did it after IPL, went to Germany. And it went really well how things went last year. And I knew how the recovery will be step by step. So I was prepared for everything. So we took a week at a time. And we are here and I feel good, “said Suryakumar.
“I think the most important thing for me is when you come here at COE or when I was here at NCA last year, they understood how my body reacts to certain situations. So all the strength and conditioning coach and the physios understood how his body works and that was all we are here,” he added.
The Mumbai born in Mumbai will soon be traveling with the Indian team to the United Arab of Emirates, because the men are set in blue to participate in the continental competition.
