Zubimendi has been quick to settle after his £51million move from Real Sociedad in the summer, scoring the winner as Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-2 in the Carabao Cup semi-final in midweek.
The Spain international has been a key part of Arsenal’s efforts on all fronts. Arteta’s side remain in both domestic cups and lead both the Premier League and Champions League standings.
Arteta spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground and was full of praise for the summer signing.
“Very happy, the way he has established himself at the club. When you talk to any staff member or player about him, there is a big smile on their face and something very positive comes out of their mouth.”
“He has quickly earned the respect of everyone here and of the supporters. He is very humble, very focused. Incredibly consistent. And on top of that he has surprised a few people with his ability to attack in the penalty area.”
