Odegaard tried to play through the pain barrier, but could not continue and was replaced by Martin Zubimendi.
About his injury -for the Champions League match of Arsenal on Wednesday, Odegaard said: From a personal point of view it felt so good to be back.

‘I feel that I didn’t play too much this season, so I really wanted to come back – especially in this game.
‘It’s a bit of a different situation, because this is not as an injury that you are not fit and then you are fit, but the shoulder now feels good.
‘It’s two weeks ago and I feel a lot stronger. The pain is now fine, it is more to get that power back and I really feel that I am back there now.
“So hopefully I can get back into the rhythm and consistently get some minutes in games.”
