The first of the 39 ITF J300 tournaments scheduled for 2026 has started New Delhi Indiawith four Americans advancing to the second round with wins today and another looking to enter with a win on Tuesday.

Fourteen-year-old Anya Arora, 367 in the first ITF junior rankings of the year, today defeated 15-year-old Alisa Terentyeva from Russia, 73 in the new rankings, 6-2, 6-0 in the first round. Arora was one of the last girls to compete in the main event. Fourteen-year-old Tanvi Pandey lost in the final qualifying round, but is the lucky loser in the main draw; She will play her first round match on Tuesday.

Kali Supova of Slovakia is the top seed in the girls’ draw; she will face qualifier Anandita Upadhyay of India in the first round on Tuesday.

No. 4 seed Roshan Santhosh, a finalist at last year’s event, defeated wild card Aashravya Mehra of India 6-4, 6-0, while No. 6 seed Vihaan Reddy also defeated a wild card from India, eliminating Tavish Pahwa 7-6(2), 6-1. Both Santhosh, who recently transferred his college commitment from Penn to Vanderbiltand Reddy are now both in the main draw of the Australian Open Junior Championships following the withdrawal of Thijs Boogaard and Jack Kennedy, so they will head straight to Australia after this event.

The fifth American in the draw is 16-year-old Kamil Stolarczyk, who won three qualifying matches and then defeated wildcard Hruthik Katakam of India 6-1, 6-4 in the first round today. He will face Thilo Behrmann from Austria in the second round.

The first The 2026 ITF junior rankings were published todaywith all players that were obsolete in 2025 removed. That’s the only change, as there haven’t been any tournaments that have impacted the rankings since the week of the Orange Bowl.

Jack Kennedy, at number 3, and Keaton Hance, at number 7, are the two American boys in the Top 10; Kristina Penickova, No. 1, and Julieta Pareja, No. 4, are the two American girls in the Top 10.

ORLANDO, Fla., January 5, 2026 – USTA and U.S. Davis Cup Captain Bob Bryan today announced that rising stars Ethan Quinn and Emilio Nava and seasoned veterans Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram have been named to compete for the U.S. in the Davis Cup first-round qualifying round against Hungary, to be played February 7-8 on an indoor clay court at the Tatabányai Multifunkcionális Sportcsarnok, in Tatabanya, Hungary.
This first round qualifying competition is a best-of-five match series that begins with two singles matches on Saturday, February 7, beginning at 1:00 PM local time (7:00 AM ET), and then continues with a doubles match and two more singles matches on Sunday, February 8, beginning at 11:00 AM local time (5:00 AM ET). The first country between the US and Hungary to win three of these five matches will win the qualifying round for the first round and advance to the second qualifying round at the end of September. This is the first meeting in Davis Cup history between the United States and Hungary. This is also the debut Davis Cup nomination for both Quinn and Nava, two emerging talents who achieved success on clay courts in 2025.

Quinn, 21, qualified and reached the third round at the French Open in his debut appearance last year. Quinn, the 2023 NCAA singles champion while at Georgia, was ranked No. 64 last year and starts the year at No. 76.

The 24-year-old Nava won four Challenger titles on clay in 2025, three of which came during a 19-match unbeaten streak in the spring. Nava currently sits at No. 88 in his career.

Ram, 41, has played in 15 Davis Cup matches for the US and has a 12-3 Davis Cup doubles record. A four-time Grand Slam doubles champion and former world number 1, Aries is currently ranked 28th.

Krajicek, 35, has played in 10 Davis Cup matches for the US and has an 8-2 record in doubles, all played with Ram. Krajicek won the 2023 French Open doubles title on his way to becoming world No. 1 in doubles at the end of the year. He is currently at number 52.

Captains may make a maximum of three combined substitutions/additions to their rosters up to the day prior to the start of the competition.
