Little by little, the long-humbled foldable Apple iphone really becomes.
A new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman Details some of the functions of the coming device, which are probably launched in the fall of 2026.
The first folding phone from Apple is said to be a foldable book style and open vertically in a small tablet. It will have a total of four cameras – two at the back, one on the inside and one at the front. It will not have a face; Instead, the touch -ID built into the on / off button, similar to what we have seen on some iPads of the company.
Mashable Light speed
Other functions of notes are new screen technology that should make the fold in the unfolding display less visible. The foldable iPhone comes with Apple’s own C2 modem, which is the same chip that will be used by the iPhone 18 Pro Line of Products. And it has no physical SIM card slot, Gurman claims.
The specifications are aligned with Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s report Earlier this year, which also said that the foldable iPhone has a 7.8-inch inner display, a 5.5-inch outside display and only 9 to 9.5 mm thickness when folded.
It is all part of Apple’s big plan to shake up its line -up for three years; Starting with the new iPhone 17 Air in September, followed by the foldable iPhone next year, and in 2027 the “iPhone 20”, a kind of anniversary model that has glass edges everywhere.
Apple’s iPhone 17 event looms: every new product we expect to see
If the report is accurate, interesting times are paramount for iPhone fans. Nothing is official until Apple says that; Fortunately, the three -year plan starts in just a few weeks, with the launch of iPhone 17.
