Registration for our first is now open AI in production conference, which takes place on June 4 and 5, 2026 in Newcastle upon Tyne.
AI in Production is for people who want to see how AI works in the everyday environment. The event brings together data scientists, engineers, analysts, researchers and anyone who wants to learn from real projects rather than theory.
What to expect
The program is split into two streams so you can follow what’s most relevant to your work.
Technical flow
Includes implementation, monitoring, scaling, infrastructure, and what it takes to keep AI systems running.
Machine Learning flow
Includes model development, evaluation, responsible use of data, and lessons learned from applied ML work across industries.
On both days you will hear open discussions about what teams tried, what worked, what failed and what they learned along the way.
Workshops on Thursday 4 June
The conference opens with a day full of practical workshops, provided by the Jumping Rivers team. These sessions guide you through practical tasks and give you time to ask questions along the way.
All tickets include access to a relaxed drinks reception from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Congress day on Friday, June 5
The conversations start at 9:30 am and last until approximately 4:15 pm. You can switch between the two streams or stay with one focus all day.
Call for speakers
If you would like to speak on AI in production 2026we would love to hear from you!
Both new and experienced speakers are very welcome. You must submit:
- A title of a conversation
- A short summary (maximum 250 characters)
- Your favorite conversation format
- Lightning talk (about 6 minutes)
- Standard call (approximately 25 minutes)
- Whether you are happy that your lecture is being recorded
- A link to a page that represents you
(personal site, LinkedIn, GitHub or GitLab, Twitter, Mastodon etc.)
The deadline for submission is January 23, 2026. Submit your summary.

The Catalyst is a short walk from Newcastle Central Station, with regular trains from Edinburgh and London. Newcastle International Airport is approximately a thirty minute tube ride away.
